Major Aaron Taylor took command of the 790th Maintenance Squadron during a change of command ceremony June 27, 2019, on F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo.

Taylor previously served as Chief of the Advanced Weapons Branch for Air Force Global Strike Command, at Barksdale Air Force Base, LA.

Major Christine Hernandez, outgoing 790th MXS commander, will remain at F.E. Warren AFB to take command of the 90th Missile Maintenance Squadron on June 28, 2019.

A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.

Taylor expressed his desire to guide his new squadron with honor, and his willingness to help the 790th MXS perform at the best of their ability

“It will be my goal to provide you everything necessary to meet the mission and help to cut down any roadblocks that may be in your way,” said Taylor. “I challenge you to continue to be innovative and think outside the box for ways to get things done.”
