F.E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. --

Colonel Robert Ewers assumed command of the 90th Operations Group during a change of command ceremony here, July 10, 2017.

Colonel Stacy Huser, 90th Missile Wing commander, served as the presiding officer and gave her thoughts on the emotion felt by Col. Todd Sauls, 90th OG outgoing commander leaving and expressed excitement for the new commander.

“Colonel Sauls took an already amazing group and made it better,” said Huser. “But as we say goodbye to one great commander, we are excited to welcome Col. Ewers and his fresh ideas and perspective. A forest is stronger when it has a variety of trees and I know Col. Ewers will plant those trees.”

Sauls, will continue his Air Force career at 20th Air Force at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming.

A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.
