Colonel Frank Verdugo is the Commander of the 90th Mission Support Group at Francis E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. He executes $54 million in funds and leads over 1,365 military, civilian and contractor personnel assigned to the Civil Engineer, Communications, Contracting, Force Support and Logistics Readiness Squadrons. He is responsible for the operations and maintenance of $2.9 billion in assets to include 793 base facilities, totaling 5.3 million square-feet, and 220 missile field facilities covering more than 9,000 square-miles over three states.
Colonel Verdugo was commissioned through the Air Force ROTC program at San Diego State University in 1995 and received distinguished graduate honors. He has served as a financial analyst, chief financial analyst and financial analysis flight commander. Colonel Verdugo has base-level, major command, Headquarters Air Force, and acquisition comptroller experience. He has deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan for Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Colonel Verdugo commanded the 49th Comptroller Squadron at Holloman AFB, New Mexico. Prior to his current assignment, Colonel Verdugo was Chief, Financial Analysis Division, Headquarters Air Force Space Command, Peterson AFB, Colorado.
