Colonel GREG D. BUCKNER

Colonel Greg Buckner is the Commander, 90th Maintenance Group at F. E. Warren  AFB, Wyoming. Under his command the proud airmen in the group provide world-class maintenance for the 90th Missile Wing’s 150 Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM), 150 launch facilities, 15 missile alert facilities and launch control centers and associated nuclear and conventional munitions in support of United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) requirements. The group performs depot, organizational and intermediate levels of repair on power systems, environmental controls systems and maintains special-purpose vehicles valued at $130M.

 

Colonel Buckner entered the Air Force in 1994 upon graduation from the Air Force Academy. He has held a variety of positions in the maintenance, acquisition, and logistics career fields and served as a staff officer at the Numbered Air Force, Major Command, and Air Staff levels.
